At 1st November 1983 the insistences voices of residents of the region for the foundation of parish with centre of adoration the historical church of Prophet Elias (15th century) becomes reality and with legal substance where published in the Official Journal of the Hellenic Republic at 01/11/1983 - leaf No. 158.
The current Priest - Emmanouil Bitzanakis is the head of the parish since April 1986.
